Last Wednesday, the Frog Pond opened
for the 2010 Summer Wading Season.
Crowds of parents and children gathered at activity tents,
awaiting the exciting first wade of the season.
Mayor Menino was present to take a quick dip.
Thomas Kershaw, Chairman of the Frog Pond Foundation,
was excited to kick off another great season.
And the first children take to the pond like ducks to water!
Nothing like a fountain of water on a hot afternoon...
As the children splashed and swam, the band played on!
