Govenor Patrick at the Set Bar

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick visited the Cheers Set Bar on Tuesday morning to share his thoughts on the, then occurring, special election.

Jan. 19: Gov. Deval Patrick (D-MA) calls Republicans supporting Scott Brown "hypocritical" for originally supporting Bush policies which he says raised the deficit. Peggy Noonan also joins the discussion.

Yesterday, MSNBC visited Cheers Beacon Hill, to film live election updates from our Set Bar. The following clip aired on The Today Show, but filming continued throughout the day. Even Governor Deval Patrick stopped by for an interview.

Haiti Donations

Cheers Boston, 75 Chestnut and the Hampshire House are raising funds for Haiti relief efforts.

As part of Cheers for Children, we are asking our patrons to please consider donating to benefit the children devastated by the recent earthquake.

Donations will go directly to the Crudem Foundation.

If you are unable to visit our facilities, please do not hesitate to donate to relief funds in your area.

Hampshire House Receives Environmental Steward Award

Today, ECOlogic awarded the Hampshire House for a decade of environmental stewardship. ECOlogic's MilliCare carpet cleaning system has saved 19,776 gallons of water, 2,904 kWh of energy, and 1.62 tons of carbon emissions through its use at the Hampshire House over the last decade.

In ECOlogic's 11 years of using the MilliCare method, the company has saved 127.6 years of energy (powering an average sized home), enough water to fill 13 Olympic sized swimming pools (7.8 million gallons), and 70,092 gallons of gas (equal to 632.03 tons of carbon emissions).

New Year's Resolutions!

It's cold, and we know you just want to curl up inside, but don't let January and February keep you locked up! Make a resolution to go out, eat some delicious food, and have some fun. Join the Hampshire House this weekend, and throughout the coming months for some great events.

This Saturday is the first installment of Dinner & A Movie: The Indiana Jones Series, featuring Raiders of the Lost Ark. Also featuring a delicious three-course meal with a choice of appetizers and entrees for only $30 per person.

This Sunday, our new Neighborhood Brunch Menu will delight our guests for the first time. Check Wednesday's post for the full menu. Brunch also features a selection of desserts and a Bloody Mary bar! Brunch is served from 11 am to 2 pm, so early-bird or late-sleeper, we'll see you there.


Finally, on Tuesday, we launch our Neighborhood Supper Club. Every Tuesday in January and February, from 5 pm to 9 pm, we'll be serving a special menu of comfort food, with a Hampshire House touch. The meal is $20 for adults, $8 for children over age 10. Children under 10 are free!
